Revealing the Indian caste system

In recent weeks, large-scale mass protests broke out in India due to caste problems. The "Jat" caste group is dissatisfied with the caste quota system, which is not conducive to the Jat people seeking jobs in government departments and public educational institutions. Violent protests left at least 18 people dead and hundreds injured. How complicated is India’s caste system? The BBC will come with you.

India’s caste system is one of the oldest existing social stratification models in the world.

This system classifies Hindus according to Karma (occupation) and Dharma (belief in Hindi, but obligation here) and puts them into a strict hierarchy. It is generally believed that this system has a history of over 3,000 years.

How did caste come into being?

Manu Code is generally regarded as the most important and authoritative Indian law book, and its writing date can be traced back to at least 1000 years before Jesus was born. The code "recognizes and maintains the caste system as the basis of social order and rules".

The caste system divides Hindus into four classes-Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas and Shudras. Many people believe that caste comes from Brahma, the Hindu god of creation.

The highest caste is Brahman, which originated from Brahma’s head. This caste is mostly teachers and intellectuals. The second level is the Khrushchev, which probably originated from Brahma’s arms, mostly warriors and state rulers. The third level is the Vedas, which come from Brahma’s thighs and are mostly composed of businessmen. The lowest caste is sudra, who comes from Brahma’s foot. People of this caste are engaged in all kinds of menial jobs.

The four castes are subdivided into 3000 castes and 25000 sub-castes according to the specific occupations people are engaged in.

In addition to the caste system, there are "untouchables", also known as Dalits or "untouchables".

Do you really know the difference between No.92 gasoline and No.95 gasoline?

Friends who have cars know that, generally speaking, 95 # gasoline will be a little more expensive than 92 # gasoline. Some car owners will subconsciously feel that it must be more expensive gasoline. Is 95 gasoline really better than 92 gasoline? What is the difference between them? Do you really know?

Is 95 oil purer than 92 oil?

There are rumors on the Internet that the higher the gasoline label, the better the quality of gasoline.

That was not the case.

In fact, the base oil of 92 # gasoline and 95 # gasoline is the same, but different additives are used to make them have different antiknock properties, which has nothing to do with the quality of gasoline itself. It does not mean that the higher the label, the less impurities there are, and there is no saying that the higher the label, the more fuel-efficient it is.

The biggest difference between No.92 and No.95 gasoline: anti-explosion.

What distinguishes 92 # gasoline from 95 # gasoline is actually the ratio of isooctane to n-heptane. 92 # gasoline is rich in 92% isooctane and 8% n-heptane. No.95 gasoline is rich in 95% isooctane and 5% n-heptane.

When the cylinder in the automobile engine is in piston motion, gasoline and air will be mixed and compressed in the cylinder. If the pressure in the cylinder is too high, it is easy to knock. The antiknock substance in gasoline is isooctane. The higher the label, the higher the isooctane content, and of course the stronger the antiknock performance.

The engine of a good car generally has a high power and compression ratio, and it is undoubtedly easy to knock when adding 92 # gasoline, which is why the better the car, the higher the requirement for gasoline label.

Can different grades of gasoline be mixed?

Last time, the Shaker saw a news on the Internet. When a Bentley owner went to the gas station to refuel, he saw that the oiler added 98 to 95 by mistake. He was so angry that he rushed up on the spot and gave the oiler a fat beating. Seeing this, someone should be tempted to ask: Is it really so serious to add the wrong oil?

If you originally added 92% oil, you accidentally added 95, which actually doesn’t matter; If a car that was originally fueled with 95 # gasoline was mistakenly fueled with 92 # gasoline, the problem is not very serious once or twice. However, if it is mistakenly fueled or mixed for a long time, the pressure in the cylinder of the car will not meet the requirements of the combustion of the oil-gas mixture, which will easily lead to knocking. In addition, it will also lead to an increase in engine carbon deposition, an increase in fuel consumption, and a knock on the cylinder, which will affect the life of the engine.

Since gasoline should not be mixed, what should we do? In fact, just add gasoline in strict accordance with the label requirements posted on the tank cover. This is not wrong. There is not much need to spend more money to add high-grade oil (of course, you don’t care about the better money), and you can’t add low-grade oil to save money!
