China Mobile’s financial report shows that the revenue in the first half of 2021 was 443.6 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.8%; The net profit was 59.1 billion yuan, up 6%, which was the biggest increase of China Mobile’s net profit in the first half of the last decade. China Telecom achieved double-digit growth in revenue and profit in the first half of the year, with revenue reaching 219.2 billion yuan, up 13.1% year-on-year; The net profit was 17.7 billion yuan, an increase of 27.2%. China Unicom’s revenue in the first half of the year was 164.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.2%; In the first half of the year, the pre-tax profit exceeded 10 billion yuan for the first time in recent years, reaching 11.3 billion yuan, and the net profit increased by 21.1%.

According to the financial report, in the first half of the year, China Mobile had 127 million users of the 5G network, with a penetration rate of 13.4%, driving the average revenue per user to increase by 3.8%. The digital incremental income of the industry driven by 5G exceeds 6 billion yuan; In the first half of the year, China Telecom had 131 million subscribers with a penetration rate of 36.2%. The average revenue per user of China Telecom’s mobile subscribers increased by 2.9% year-on-year. 5G application scenarios have nearly doubled compared with the end of 2020; In the first half of the year, China Unicom reached 113 million subscribers with a penetration rate of 36.5%. The average revenue per subscriber of China Unicom increased by 8.5% year-on-year, and the total mobile Internet traffic increased by 27.5%.
