　　At the conference commemorating the 200th anniversary of Marx’s birth, General Secretary of the Supreme Leader profoundly expounded: Marx’s life is a life of lofty ideals and unremitting struggle for human liberation, a life of courageously climbing the ideological peak in pursuit of truth without fear of difficulties and obstacles, and a life of ceaseless struggle to overthrow the old world and establish a new world.

　　On May 5, 1818, Marx was born in Trier, Germany. In any case, people at that time would not have thought that this ordinary child would make unremitting efforts for the lofty ideal of human liberation and achieve a great life in his future growth and in a long and bumpy life, with a pen as a gun and a sword as a weapon.

　　This year marks the 200th anniversary of Marx’s birth. For some time, people who study, study and believe in Marxism all over the world have commemorated him in different ways, or read his classic works, or write commemorative words, or walk in his footsteps.
